I am not vegan, as I do enjoy eggs and dairy and personally can not get enough protein to make me feel good on an all vegan diet, however I do strive for a vegan meal once or twice per day and always looking for new and tasty vegan protein sources, this shake with Ka'Chava looks delicious! My current favorite vegan breakfast is a bowl filled with fruit, usually some combo of bananas and berries or even grapefruit, topped with chia sees, flaked coconut, almond butter, cinnamon, turmeric plus a little black pepper and sometimes a little protein powder with a good splash of unsweetened coconut hemp milk, so yum! BTW, I LOVE the glasses in this post. Would love to know where I can find them? Thanks for the giveaway opp!

My favorite breakfast is fritatta made with veggies. Not sure how that could be vegan, but you never know!

Hi Spabettie,
The KaChava looks interesting, however, on the left side of their ingredient list it looks like a whole list of synthetic vitamins and minerals. What do you think about that? I welcome your feedback.

We have a Guyanese breakfast that I miss and really can't imagine making vegan so I indulge as is occasionally: boiled plantains and hard boiled eggs with some codfish and oil. You mash everything together and add salt & pepper. It sounds and actually looks a little gross, but it's a delicacy we quickly fell in love with as children. Flax eggs and dulse flakes won't work...but maybe avocado...hmmm...time to investigate;)
