    peanut butter chocolate ice cream

We recently bought an ice cream maker... they're on sale now for end of season!!

This was my first time making ice cream since... Uncle Dudley with salt and ice! 😀

So... I went with a classic recipe, just so I knew it would turn out. However, I have not had whole milk or heavy cream in my house since...

well, anyway, after this I'll be experimenting!

    Peanut Butter Chocolate Ice Cream

    1 cup cashew milk
    ¾ turbinado sugar
    2 cups coconut cream
    1-2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup vegan chocolate sandwich cookies, crumbled
    ½ cup peanut butter

Action shot of my fun new toy:

    Adding cookies!

    All together now:

    Add a dachshund cookie!

This is so amazing. Think of cookies and creme ice cream, then add peanut butter.

I will not even apologize for the amount of ice cream, fro yo and sorbet you are about to see.

It is going to be epic.

What's team are you... ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet or gelato?

    What is your favorite flavor?

We have an ice cream maker too. Not blue though, lol. I love gelato. Just discovered it this summer and wonder now why it took me so long to discover it. Yummy!

What team am I on? Uh, ALL OF THE ABOVE! 🙂 Looks terrific! I bet I could make it using coconut milk and that's a darned good use of store bought gf cookies. 😉 Now, I want that blue ice cream maker. Badly. Very badly.

I remember we used to have and old school ice cream maker when I was little that had to be out in the garage and was very loud. 🙂

I always thought it would be fun to own an ice cream maker, but for now. I'll have to settle for my high speed blender and make mock ice cream 🙁

Bring on all the ice cream recipes and fro you recipes, maybe that will push me towards purchasing my own machine now.

Looks really good, the consistency looks like a real ice cream and yummy!

I am totally Team Ice Cream. And now that you mention they are on sale I need to look into them. Somehow when it gets colder outside I crave colder foods sometimes -- especially ice cream 🙂
