Spicy Mango Tango Smoothie – this protein and veggie packed smoothie has vibrant colors and bright tropical flavors everyone will love!
Happy Smoothie Saturday!
We have had a busy schedule lately, and smoothies have been our go to dinner on nights where we need a satisfying, complete and quick meal, or something to take on the go. During the extended snow and ice storms Portland has been experiencing, having a little bright tropical flavor is just what we need.
This Spicy Mango Tango Smoothie recipe is incredibly nourishing, with that spicy ginger we both love. (I may be heavy handed on our ginger in these.) Chia and spinach gives it the staying power I want from a smoothie, and the mango makes me giddy for our next visit to the islands. This smoothie comes from my friend Becky’s new eBook, 40 Days of Green Smoothies.
This fabulous collection of recipes will help “kickstart your mornings with this 40 day program designed to develop your green smoothie habit!” Divided into weeks complete with shopping lists, this eBook is packed with nourishing smoothies that are straightforward, quick, and extremely tasty.
The Spicy Mango Tango Smoothie is an easy one for us, because you can always find mango in my freezer! Fresh kale works as a sub for spinach too…
