My silverware drawer is stacked atop other drawers, on the kitchen floor. My juicer and blender are currently plugged in at the island, and keep moving from surface to surface around the kitchen. My large crock of spatulas and other implements is around the corner in the dining room, along with my peanut butter collection.
My kitchen is in complete disarray, and I could not be happier about that.
The kitchen renovation is underway – after months of planning and choosing materials, we have just begun the actual installation.
I am super lucky to have The Best Contractor Ever. Early on I explained that I have been working with Delta Faucet and that I had a deadline for the installation of the faucet.
Without blinking an eye, he said yes, we can do that.
With new cabinets in the plan and completely new designs happening in several areas of the kitchen, this is no easy feat. The cabinets are being built right now. Yet I have my new sink, (partial) counter tops and glass tile back splash not even partially set (if you look closely you’ll see it is temporary for photos only). All so I could have my new Delta Faucet ready to go. Amazing client satisfaction, right there.
If you remember seeing my current kitchen, you will remember the oak cabinets and white tile counter tops. The sink was one of those porcelain / enamel coated things that I could not wait to replace. Every time I wash one of my heavy pots or pans, I feel like I am going to chip it.

That old faucet was also something I have been wanting to replace – kitchen reno or not, that was leaving soon. Another reason I am thrilled to be working with Delta – we love the sleek lines, cool touch technology and modern look of The Cassidy.
While this is just the beginning and there is much left to do, the sink and faucet are in place and usable. The day of installation I kept walking into the kitchen to look at it. Touch it on and off.
This Touch2O Technology faucet is incredibly convenient (simply tap the faucet in any number of places), and really pretty fun. Already it has proven useful – every day I am in the kitchen cooking, and being able to tap the faucet on when my hands are covered in food is already second nature!
The stainless design goes well with the new appliances I am bringing in too – it fits well with the new design I have planned. I cannot wait to show you more.
Delta Touch2O Technology for your kitchen and bathroom is precisely in tune with your every touch. Take the quiz to learn which faucet style best describes you at deltafaucet.com
