On the first full day of spring I am so happy to say it’s 5:45 pm and we have blue skies and sunshine!
We also have dinner guests, so it’s a quick post for my guacamole. Takes three minutes.
2 ripe avocados
1/2 onion, chopped
juice of one lemon
Combine all ingredients and serve with chips, veggie dippers.
As part of the Foodbuzz Tastemaker Program, I was sent Tostitos Artisan Recipes chips – fire roasted chipotle and roasted garlic + black bean. I served these along with some gluten free chips and broccoli trees.
The chips are tasty – I especially like the flavor of the roasted garlic and black bean, and the flavor goes great with guacamole. The fire roasted chipotle is spicy – this flavor would be great as a base for taco salad, with cool lettuce, beans, tomatoes and peppers. Both flavors are good – everyone here is enjoying them!
