I make a smoothie or protein shake almost every day for breakfast. Today I am on Day Nine of a 10 Day herbal cleanse (Huzzah!), so my smoothie today was a very simple, but delicious Green Monster. It was: 3 large handfuls spinach (completely fills Vitamix), 1 cup coconut milk, sprinkling (about 2 teaspoons) of chia seeds, one banana. Hours of bliss and energy, right there. Basil liked it also.
