Light Bright Lemon Smoothie

Serves: one smoothie
dairy, egg, soy and gluten free, vegan
  • ½ cup cashew milk (So Delicious)
  • 1 fresh lemon
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt (So Delicious)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ground flax seed
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • handful of ice
  1. Pour cashew milk into blender.
  2. Zest lemon, add to milk in blender. Peel lemon, including removing as much pith and segment ribs as possible. Remove seeds. Add lemon to blender.
  3. Add yogurt, turmeric, ice and any other add ins you like (raspberries, vanilla protein, spinach, spirulina). Blend until smooth.
  4. Optional - add a bit of maple syrup if you are not adding fruit or the yogurt / protein powder is not sweetened.
