Grilled Cheese Collection – Six Recipes for Grilled Cheese Day

Don’t you just love a good grilled cheese?

When was the last time you had one – a really good grilled cheese? Buttery bread that is perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and holding one, hopefully two, kinds of cheese, all melty and perfectly flavored.

My favorites often include some veggies. Sometimes not. Sometimes they are spicy, sometimes made from waffles.

Today is National Grilled Cheese Day, I am told. April is Grilled Cheese Month – Hallelujah! I will certainly celebrate this weekend, how about you? Here are six of my favorites to inspire you:

oh is that why I had the craving for melty cheese on toast this morning :-) your sandwiches all look delicious and I admire your capture of the meltiness of the cheese

yep – grilled cheese MONTH all month, so if you didn’t get your craving fixed over the weekend, you still have time Johanna! ;)

I love your variations on the GCS! We picked up some giant portobello caps so we’re doing Grilled Cheese Bello Sandwiches today! Cheers! :)

My sons loves grilled cheese, and he loves jalapeno peppers in his dishes, but I never thought of combining the two for him. I have a feeling he’s going to have a field’s day when he gets one of these this weekend. You’ve listed some great variations.
