Bakers Edge pan giveaway

by Kristina Sloggett

in Giving Back

Happy Holidays!

So there is this genius of a pan, the Baker’s Edge. If you are one of those people who likes the edges of brownies, this one gives you edges on every single piece. I use mine all the time, most recently for my salted marcona and chocolate crispies:

There is a larger pan for lasagna – pretty easy pan to cut portions from!

Five ways to enter, please leave a comment for each:

1) What is the first thing you make in this pan?

2) Tweet this –>

do you like EDGES of brownies? @spabettie is giving away a Baker’s Edge pan –> http://www.spabettie.com/?p=8870

3) Stumble this post (icon below) and like it (and follow me if you’d like!)

4) follow spabettie on twitter

5) like spabettie on facebook

Enter through December 20. Winner emailed December 21.

Well if it isn’t Bettie Claus herself, spreading Christmas cheer! And what better way to do so than by giving away a bakers edge pan? I have honestly never seen this before but now my eyes are transfixed upon it–it is on the top of my Christmas list this year. Oh, I hope I have been good enough to get it :) If so, I will make my very first batch of gluten free and vegan brownies ever (can you believe I haven’t made any yet???)

Hands down, I’d make gluten free brownies for my 7 year old. She asked me to get her the “perfect” brownie pan for her birthday last year. I assure you, there is nothing perfect about that awful pan. The Baker’s Edge pan, however, looks like a dream come true!
Thanks!!

I randomly just had a craving for “Hello Dolly!” Bars (sometimes called 7-Layer Bars), but since I am now digging this whole “vegan with benefits” thing…and can’t have milk without stomach issues…I’ve love to try and figure out a way to make them without the whole “cover in a can of condensed milk” step. :)

Reply

15 Danielle December 13, 2011 at 9:41 am

use canned coconut milk for condensed :o)

I can’t remember when I first saw one of these pans, but I did think “that’s genius!” Like most people have said it’d probably be brownies, but not just any brownies. My mom taught me a trick where you put half the batter in the pan, then you layer in Hershey’s Symphony bars, then finish with the rest of the batter. Delicious.
