plate to pixel giveaway

Happy Holidays!

Photography has been a interest of mine since high school, where I first learned my way around camera settings (and had access to a dark room, because in the olden days there was film!). As far as food photography, I was taking food photos way before the blog. and… as far as food photography, I still have a lot to learn. I love to play with my camera, it is always fun to see what it can do!

When learning something, I am more of a hands-on learner rather than a reader. However, I do have excellent resources I turn to, and Plate to Pixel is my favorite. Packed with essential information and stunning photography examples, this book is also just fun to read.

Kids! They are constantly moving, so it easy to get a shot of them doing something interesting, and they are completely relaxed in front of the camera so everything is completely natural :-).

My very most favorite thing to take pictures of is the dogs! :) But I stink at it because I don’t know how to use my DSLR well enough – and they are so spastic I can’t catch them 😉

This book would be perfect for me! I’m just getting into food photography (and photography in general). The best kind of food I love to photograph are breads.

Oh wow! I could totally use this! Being a complete n00b to writing a food blog and having very little options for natural light in my home I could use all the help I can get. lol

I already follow you on Facebook so I clicked “like” for this post.

Have a wonderful holiday season, whatever you celebrate!

I love taking pictures of food-both food I make myself and food I eat out. This book would be awesome as I’m still learning how to use my camera and need tips on how to get the best shot!

So this is going to sound creepy, but I like to take photos of random bumper stickers on peoples cars and then send them to my friends for the lulz.
