coffee and chocolate giveaway

Happy Holidays!

Over the last several months, I have been able to sample the limited edition Godiva flavors – you might recall a recipe or two I made with them. As much as I’m not really a flavored coffee fan, I liked these! I really like baking with them, but as a cup of coffee, these are good. So I got some to share – the Pumpkin Spice and the Caramel Pecan Bark.

I also picked up some of my favorite chocolate. The Endangered Species Supreme Dark is one of my favorites – I use it often for baking and sauces – I call it the chocolate with the monkey.

Have you had the Midnight Crunch quinoa chocolate yet? Well now you can. This is yummy. I am also giving away a couple of my favorites from right here in Portland – an Orange Ginger and a Spiced Chai. So good.

I LOVE the endangered species chocolate too! It’s some of the only vegan chocolate near where I live. I love to make a sandwich and stuff peanutbutter between two pieces :)

I love flavored coffee! It smells divine and it can be amazing in smoothies or lattes! This is a fabulous giveaway!

O and I follow you on Twitter :)

  2. says

I loveee Godvia’s Pumpkin Spice cofffee! So delicious and saves me money too!

And my favorite chocolate? TJ’s Dark chocolate covered ginger. Heaven!

  3. says

Coffee and chocolate are two of my favorite things!

I’m not a fan of two many flavored coffees, but mayyybe caramel pecan bark could turn me around…And I eat Baker’s unsweetened squares most often – I love the dark stuff!

  4. says

My favorite chocolate is made by a local chocolatier called Olive & Sinclair. They have a sea salt and pepper variety. Whole Foods picked up this brand and carries it nationally, but it’s all made within a mile of my house. The really special thing about this chocolate is that brown sugar is used instead of white sugar, which results in a smooth chocolate with a consistency that’s similar to the mouthfeel of milk chocolate.

  5. Ashley says

Im currently obsessed with the endangered species peppermint and dark chocolate and also this raw “milk” chocolate bar I found at whole foods, think its called organic nectars? I can’t remember as I devoured 2 this week lol but they are made with cashews and omg so yum!
Any coffee is good lol I just haven’t been able to find any Godiva anywhere because I am dying to try them! Coffee + chocolate? Yes please!

  6. says

My favorite chocolate is a tie between Ghiradelli 86% dark chocolate, and the Endangered Species Extreme dark chocolate (with the panther on it!)

Right now, I love some flavored coffee, but I’ll probably get sick of it pretty soon – it goes in phases for me :-)

  7. says

I’ve never tried that chocolate but now I MUST try it!! I’m such a sucker for dark chocolate. I also tried the caramel bark Godiva coffee and loved it.

  8. sarah garvey says

I have actually not tried any chocolate since going vegan. I used to love white chocolate, but unfortunately I don’t think they make that vegan. That spiced chai chocolate looks really good though, and I would love to try it. And yes to flavored coffee! But not syrups, those just make my coffee taste disgusting. I like the flavored coffee grounds. My current favorite is Dunkin Donuts brand pumpkins spice.

  9. Jessica Caneal says

My favorite chocolate is Neuhaus from Belgum. A friend of mine recently brought some back for me but you can also order it online. Also, while I enjoy the taste of flavored coffee, I don’t like to consume artificial ingredients so I always check the labels to be sure of what I’m buying. And added sugar is a no-no for me!

  10. says

Already following on twitter and facebook! RTed the tweet! Liked on Stumble!

I am obsessed with pumpkin spice coffee, especially in this winter season! And chocolate I like all kinds… But natural or fresh chocolate is of course the best :)

  11. says

My favorite chocolate is usually a dark version with either espresso beans or almonds. Favorite flavored coffee of all time would have to be hazelnut!

I’ve been following you on twitter (@veganmoxie), but just liked you on FB. I’m also going to tweet about this now. Thanks for the opportunity!

  12. says

Not even going to lie–Endangered Species is my all-time favorite chocolate! Their 72% dark is the bomb-diggety yo (let’s pretend it’s still the ’90s…)

  13. says

This is a good one! Coffee and chocolate are such a good pair. I rarely drink coffee anymore, but I love it on certain occasions. And I never need an occasion for chocolate. :)

  14. Margaret says

My favorite type of chocolate (which isn’t really chocolate if you want to get technical) is white chocolate. And absolutely to flavored coffee!! I love marzipan coffee.

  15. Ashley says

Dark chocolate and almonds from equal exchange! Why does everyone else only make milk chocolate and almonds?

Flavored coffee–No way! Coffee has it’s own beautiful flavor if you buy good coffee.

  16. Gab says

Flavoured coffee, yes – anything with vanilla, or pumpkin or gingerbread spices.

Favourite chocolate is dark, the darker the better. There is some lovely raw chocolate from Loving Earth with orange and gubinge. It is divine!

  17. Meryl says

My favorite chocolate is 70%, specifically Santander and Newman’s Own Organics Super Dark. Flavored coffee has its merits – I often mix hazelnut with espresso.

  18. Alexa says

I love the endangered species chocolate :)!
And coffee is definitly better black to drink but flavored for baking :)

  19. says

I love dark chocolate. Peanut butter chocolate. Nuts chocolate. Milk Chocolate. ALL chocolate really.
Flavoured coffee? Not so much. I like it with whipped cream. hehe

  20. Anna says

the darker the chocolate, the better… i’m not a big coffee drinker, though i can be won over by flavored coffee — as long as it’s not artificially sweetened!!

  21. tanya says

My favourite choc is good rich dark stuff. Or free stuff :)
I am just starting to drink coffee and have yet to try a flavoured one. I’ve added flavours after the fact and don’t mind that.

  22. Sarah L says

I love flavored coffee. My favorite type of chocolate is dark chocolate. I’d love to try some of the more unique chocolate flavors that are popping up everywhere. They look delicious!

  23. says

Chocolate? Yes, please, dark is best, as long as it’s yummy, brand doesn’t matter.
Coffee? Yes, please, too. Addicted to the flavor, not the caffeine. These flavors sound yummy.

My favorite chocolate tends to be anything spicy. Also Guittard (gotta stay true to my SanFran roots). And as for flavored coffee: by itself nay; in oatmeal/smoothies YAY.

  31. says

Flavored coffees are great as a treat, but not everyday. I like nutty flavors the most.
Endangered Species Dark is one of my favorite too…never tried Midnight Crunch but it sounds super delicious! Theo Chocolate…any of their amazing dark chocolate flavors really spin my spurs. 😉

  32. says

Coffee, chocolate, chai… sounds like heaven to me! Wow, perfect for the holidays! Love your blog.. facebook and your email recipes! Thank you

  33. Isabel says

The favored flavor for chocolate is definitely dark with cayenne and sea salt (homemade makes it even better). Or any sort of dark chocolate, really. Peppermint is a close second…

  34. says

I don’t really drink coffee anymore (although my family members do), but I love chocolate, especially Endangered Species Chocolate. I’m a big fan of all their flavors. Wish they still made the more exotic bars with maca, goji berries, etc.

  35. Lindsey says

I love the Sweet chocolate dream, creamy. Mmm, hits the spot when I miss milk chocolate. Plus, they even sell it in the local health food store. :)

  36. Kat says

I am also an Endangered Species fan, good, good and good. I haven’t really tried flavored coffee but really like your idea of using it as an ingredient in the creation of some deliciousness.

  37. says
