in Basil is a Young Sportsman

Recently my friend S answered some questions on her blog. It’s always fun to learn more about your blog friends, and hers is fun to read.

She then came up with some questions of her own, and I was one whose answers she wanted!

  1. If you could be any animal, what would it be and why? Basil. He has a pretty perfect life…

  1. Is it better to have loved and lost, or never to have loved at all? most definitely better to love
  1. How much wood could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood? 3 cords…  and can he bring one by our house? I’ll help him stack it. (is there a critter called a woodstack?)
  1. Do you live the life you thought you would when you were little?  is anyone? and would I really want to be a ballerina veterinarian doctor who lives in a pink tree house? :D
  1. What was the last thing that made you laugh out loud? playing contract rummy with my brother, my mom + dad and Jason on Thanksgiving. so much fun, and between my mom and I, successfully channeled Grandpa Z.
  1. Tea or coffee? tea > coffee… although I still have coffee on occasion…
  1. What are you most afraid of? losing the ability to hear music. I would do without most other things…
  1. What is the first thing you think about in the morning? Hello Basil! His face is usually the first thing I see, as he is standing next to me with his cute Full Body Wag going…
  1. Best film of all time? Shawshank Redemption. Life is Beautiful. Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Empire Strikes Back.
  1. If you had 1 meal left in this world, what would you eat? sushi. and Grandpa Z’s french toast…
  1. OK, OK, 3 was a ruse… so how about: black or white? hmm… I believe THIS is a ruse as well! ;) black for licorice, white for teeth. never white for chocolate. black for many shoes. black for coffee. black AND white for photography.

I would love to hear your answers! Leave a comment and answer any and all of them!

oh, and Go Ducks!

I’m totally with you on sushi as the last meal and I LOVE Audrey Hepburn. Breakfast at Tiffanys is a favorite.

Lol…that picture of Basil is pretty priceless :-)

I accidentally clicked your “Go Ducks” link and I literally said, “BOOOO!!!!” out loud to my empty house.

yay! Thanks for playing, Kristina! I seriously loved your woodchuck Q, too—and black v white isn’t a ruse, just a question of interpretation. :)

all I can say… ballerina veterinarian doctor who lives in a pink tree house, I think you should live just like that!

I think I wanted something similar, except I wanted to work at an aquarium!

Having been living in the “real world” for quite some time now I must admit that “a ballerina veterinarian doctor living in a pink tree house” might not be bad – on occasion. :

Look at Basil! He really is living the good life!

Love the ballerina vet! That’s great. Such a cute picture of Basil. I have a picture of my first furbaby on a raft. She looked so chill like that was what she’d been waiting her whole life for – just to sun bathe on a raft.

Love the pic of Basil. Lincoln is the first thing I see every morning since he jumps on my chest and attacks me with puppy kisses. It’s all good though, I enjoy it :) He actually did a guest post today since it’s his birthday today!

And my name is Tiffany but I’ve never seen Breakfast at Tiffany’s. One of these days though I will finally add it to my Netflic queue!

The 2nd question is so interesting…I wonder what I would answer. I’m stumped on that one. Loss, especially of people, is something I don’t deal well with.

Basil is adorable :)

I love your answer to #3! Half of our garage is currently covered in firewood. The other half has a home brewery, so there is no getting out of scraping the car all winter.

Also, I wouldn’t mind living in one of those pink houses in San Francisco…

Tea all the way. I drink two cups everyday at the exact same time. No more coffee, although I think they’re both equally saturated with caffeine.
